Do I have to go church to get married at the church?
No. Our ministers conduct Christian wedding ceremonies and we recognise that many people want this although they do not regularly attend church.
What if we don’t want to get married at the church building – do you conduct weddings off-site?
Again, we realise the church building won’t suit everyone. Give us a call or email and we can negotiate. Not every site around Broome is suitable for weddings. You will also need to organise your permit with Broome Shire Council should you wish to use a public space.
I’m not sure we want to use your services to get married. Is it ok to ring up to get some information?
Sure. It’s best to call Tim on 0412 286 450 to arrange a chat. He’s quite friendly and happy to try to answer your questions on the condition he can say ‘I don’t know.’
What are your charges?
We currently charge $1000 for the full package.
$400 use of national estate registered building and grounds, preparation, cleaning, use of sound equipment etc
$400 minister, including administration, counselling, preparation of paperwork, liaison with births, deaths and marriages
$150 building repairs and maintenance fund contribution
$130 verger assisting minister to prepare and return church to order following ceremony
$20 garden water levy
